Gladiator Review

How To Play

Playtech is known for several online slots with film sources. For the Gladiator Slot, the company has taken the Academy Award-winning film by Ridley Scott as its inspiration. The reel symbols show characters from the movie. In the bonus game and the free game round, there are also small film sequences. In addition, the game shines with a pompous soundtrack that really makes you feel like you’re in the Colosseum.

The betting limits go between 1 cent and €250, so high rollers, cautious players and beginners alike can get their money’s worth. Of course, we need to highlight particularly the progressive jackpot offered by a few casinos.

In the course of our test, we found that the game is also very good on mobile. Despite of the many settings options and the quite large reel symbols we had, with a normal Wi-Fi connection, good experiences with the mobile version. Given the smaller screens, the size of the symbols was even more of an advantage.

Special Features

Gladiator Jackpot Bonus

Get the three gladiator helmets on the second, third and fourth reels, for a chance at a jackpot. Afterwards, gladiator helmets appear again. If you’re lucky, you can collect exclusively golden helmets and get the progressive jackpot, but there are also silver helmets which give you the bonus displayed. The beauty of this bonus game is that a profit is guaranteed. Only the amount of this profit remains open until the end.

Gamble function

Wins can be multiplied with the gamble feature. You can tap on whether a red or one black card is revealed. Each win doubles your bet. You can win up to a total win of €50, or collect your previous win at any time to return to the regular reel game.

Gaming Experience

Personally, what we find particularly interesting about this machine is the theme chosen by Playtech, but this is a personal judgment as a fan of ancient history and consequently fanatic of this great film. This machine stands out for the gameplay that still allows you to multiply winnings and acquire the opportunity to get the always welcome free spins. Also interesting is the layout: the design allows even the less experienced to easily play the game and is equipped with some special functions such as autoplay mode. The betting limits are variable and give the possibility to each player to place the most appropriate bet to their economic possibilities.

Conclusion

In this final section I usually devote myself to summarizing what is already set out in the previous paragraphs. Speaking of the Gladiator slot, I have a more than positive overall judgment. Despite the basic model of the slot produced by Playtech, it is full with interesting and pleasant features such as the Bonus Game Colosseum and the Gladiator Free Bonus that allow each player not only to increase their winnings, but also not to get bored during games. The gameplay in fact is very lively and never static, powered by pleasant graphics and complimented by a payout that in any case falls within the average of RTPs.
